The condition of the set was really bad, with some rust on the cabinet, bad speaker, and bad antenna coil with an open ground to chassis connection. A small set but with a very trick antenna coil.

The arrow indicates a loose wire close to the lug on the coil. That was a easy one. Just soldered the wire and glued the loose lug.

Internally, the chassis was not bad. Some wax capacitors to replace, electrolytics and probably some resistors.

Rust on the cabinet removed with a fine steel brush.

Painted with Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover 12 oz. Spray Paint, Gloss Ivory. It looks great.

Chassis recaped, including the electrolytics, several resistors out of specification changed, a the speaker replaced.

Original tag has been scanned from the unrestored cabinet, printed in a color laser printer, and glued back to the botton ot the radio.

Set restored and playing great with an excellent sound.
