This Radiola 18 was restored during the month of September of last year. It was a very challenging and rewarding restoration project. The radios was in bad conditions with lots of rust and very dirty. The cabinet old finish was striped and a new lacquer finish was applied in two tones of mahogany. The power supply was bad but I had a second set that I used to remove a good transformer. Lots of sanding to get rid of the rust and cleaning to remove the dirt from chassis.
