DESCRIPTIONThe Radiola III A is a battery-powered regenerative receiver, using four type WD-11 tubes. The first tube works as the detector, the second as the first audio amplifier, and the third and fourth as audio amplifier. It receives frequencies from ~ 480-1500 KHz, similar to the modern standard broadcast band. This is a small rectangle-shaped radio. This set was designed for use with headphones in first audio output and high impedance speakes, in the second audio output.
